LAUNCH OF THE VIRTUAL ACADEMY
25 years and we've finally gone virtual!
We know, it's been a long time coming but we're finally getting ourselves up to date with the virtual world! We may have lost some valuable together time at SRA but that's why our tech and copywriting team of - a humble - two have been working tirelessly to not only launch a fab new website and enrolment system, but to deliver SRA classes right to your doorstep (literally!). We are now taking students on for classes in every department via Zoom.
All you need is a webcam of sorts, whether that be on Mum-Dad-Aunt-Uncle-Sister-Brother-Grandad-Grandma's laptop, or if you're lucky enough, your own! Grab your acting folder, dance shoes and dress in your usual class uniform and you'll be ready for class, right from the comfort of your living room.
*Tap lessons at home: Miss Jane and Miss Hannah will permit students to dance barefoot or wear trainers (we don't want the blame for your scuffed wooden or tiled flooring, Mums and Dads!). If you have a tap board, please wear normal tap shoes.
How to get started on Zoom...
Start by going to https://zoom.us/download. Click the blue “Download” button under Zoom Client for Meetings to access the installer. Open the Zoom installer from your Downloads folder and follow the on-screen steps to set up your Zoom Client.
The team are looking forward to seeing you all ~ virtually ~ very soon, even if you are a little pixelated...
Sending strength and wellness,
SRA Team (inc, a tired copywriter-cum-tech team)
