SRA WELCOMES WORLD-CLASS HEAD OF BALLET TO THE FAMILY
A bit about Miss Fábia...
Miss Fábia was born in Sao Paulo (Brazil) where she completed the RAD Ballet syllabus until Advanced 2. She became a certified teacher at the Escuela Nacional de Ballet de Lá Republica of Cuba and completed her training at the Joffrey Ballet School in New York.
She has performed professionally with a number of renowned companies, including Dance2000, Company Brasileira de Danças Clássica (where she also took on the role of Assistant Director), and the Dance Company of Sao Jose dos Campos as both a dancer and teacher.

In 2018, SRA was very excited to welcome Miss Fábia as our new Head of Ballet. Nearly two years on, we are delighted to announce that Miss Fábia's visa has been confirmed and she is here to stay!
A word from Susan Roberts on Miss Fábia's impact as Head of Ballet...
"When I was looking to replace our previous Head of Ballet, who maintained an excellent standard within SRA's ballet department for an impressive 14 years, I was faced with the very difficult task to find the right person to take over as our new Head of Department.
"Miss Fábia joined us in 2018 on a creative visa and she has transformed our school into the wonderful world-class department that it is. We are so fortunate to have Miss Fabia with us more permanently and are very excited about what the future holds for us and those training at SRA.
"Miss Fábia is a world-class practitioner; she has taught ballet internationally for many years as well as performing as a professional dancer herself. Most importantly, Miss Fábia shares Susan Roberts Academy's "work hard, be kind" ethos. She trains our students to an exceptionally high standard and grants children from all walks of life the opportunity to learn from a professional."
